Speaking at a news conference on Saturday evening, the minister said that the girl in question was tested and at 2:54 pm her test reported negative. Hence, those who appeared at the same examination centre with her need not be worried and no student should undergo quarantine.
He also stated that the student’s father is already in quarantine and is undergoing treatment by the Department of Health. The father is not suffering from any special health problems.
