Cricket betting: Youth from Boloor arrested

Mangaluru: A youth from Boloor was arrested by Barke Police on the charges of involving in cricket betting through a mobile app. The accused is identified as is Sudesh (26).

He has been accused of collecting funds and involved in betting during the World Cup match between New Zealand and South Africa.

The accused was arrested based on a credible tip-off. Two mobile phones worth Rs 24,000 and Rs 90,000 in cash was seized by the police during the operation.
