Cyclonic storm 'Kyarr': Schools and PU colleges in Udupi to remain closed on Oct 25

Udupi: In the backdrop of heavy rains expected in the region, the DC of the district declared holiday for the schools and PU colleges for Friday, October 25.

The weather department has warned that cyclonic storm ‘Kyarr’ may be formed due to depression in atmospheric pressure experienced in Arabian Sea and Lakshadweep which may increase the possibility of heavy rains pounding the twin-districts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada for the next two days.
