In the wake of the bandh, a farmer leader and his associates entered the market and were ordering the vegetable and fruit vendors there to stop operations.

Then an elderly leafy vegetable trader, Gudappa Chinnakatte, refused to shut his shop and verbally clashed with the leader.

The elderly trader questioned the farmer leader as to why he should close his shop. The farmer leader responded by saying that the trader will no longer be able to sell coriander or own the land to grow it due to the farm bills passed by the Modi government.

To which Chinnakatte responded that Modi has done many good things and that farmers like him exist because of Modi.
