DC Rupesh seeks help for Puttur natives stuck at Guj-Maha border

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy commissioner Sindhu Rupesh has written a letter to Valsad district collector to make food and accommodation arrangements for two persons from Puttur who are stranded at Ambergaon in the district amid the lockdown.

Valsad is a district near Gujarat Maharashtra border.

Ashik Hussain and Mohammed Takeen Maril, have been stuck at the RTO check post of Ambergaon for the last 21 days. The duo have been staying in their car, without proper accommodation or food. A person named Rasheed brought this to the notice of Sindhu Rupesh.

Rupesh, in the letter Dated April 14,  shared the contact details of the person and urged the Valsad DC to arrange for their accommodation and food.
