DC, SP inspect road widening of Udupi-Manipal NH

Udupi: Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati and Superintendent of Police Nisha James inspected the road widening work of the Udupi-Manipal stretch of the NH 169A here on Tuesday.

Inspecting the work, the DC directed the concerned officials to construct drains by the side of the highway and to take up road safety measures along the stretch before the arrival of the monsoon.

Along with the widening, the road is also being concretized. The stretch is part of NH 169A which connects Malpe in Udupi with Tirthahalli town in Shivamogga district.
