Speaking to the media Gowda said "Prajwal is an educated individual, yet somewhat hasty. If anyone else wants to contest they are most welcome. Else, Prajwal will contest," Gowda said adding that he was focused on bring a party other than Congress or BJP to power in the state, in the upcoming Assembly polls.

He also added that he will visit the state without any rest till the election dates.

The JD(S) party has a lack of funds, but not lack of confidence. I needn't get lessons about social justice from others. I too have served the people of the state.
