Until now those entities doing business in city corporation-owned buildings had to visit the MCC premises for making rental payments by filling out the requisite forms. The cumbersome process led to a delay in receipt of the rental payments and the corporation used to cash crunch for the same reason.
With the new web application, which is in process, individuals can access information on previous pending rent and the current month’s rent. Additionally, individuals can book Kudmul Ranga Rao town hall and Ambedkar Bhavan at Urwa online after paying the specified rent in future, except for days when government programs are scheduled.
Mayor Premananda Shetty stated that the MCC-owned market buildings, commercial complexes, and other buildings’ rents can now be paid online without visiting the MCC office.
