Disgusting: CSK skippers' 5-yr-old daughter Ziva gets rape threats after team loss

 

New Delhi: In a disturbing incident, Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s five-year-old daughter received rape threats after they lost the game against KKR by a mere 10 runs.

The threats surfaced on Dhoni and his wife Sakshi’s Instagram accounts and created an outrage on social media, especially from women.

Actor-turned-politician Nagma tweeted, “Where are we headed as a Nation? It’s disgusting Dhoni’s 5-Year-Old Daughter Ziva is Getting Rape Threats after CSK Lost IPL Match to KKR. Mr #PM what is this happening In our country??”

Jayanagara MLA Sowmya Reddy, in a post said, “This is just nasty! What’s happening to our country? Where are we heading?”

In the past too there have been instances where fans vented out their ire on the cricketers’ family, girlfriend. However targeting the daughter of a player in such a way has been unheard of before.
