Dubai-M’luru AIE flight lands in Kochi due to adverse weather

Mangaluru: An Air India Express flight from Dubai, which was supposed to land here on Monday midnight, landed in Kochi due to adverse weather conditions.

Flight 1XE 384 with 118 passengers was diverted to Kochi due to the heavy rains and thunder in and around Mangaluru.

The late-night flight diversion caused much distress to the passengers who were told that the flight will be in Kochi airport for less than an hour but had to stay there for the entire night.

Passengers reportedly spent the whole night without food and proper sleep.

The flight then safely landed at Mangaluru airport on Tuesday morning.
