Currently, Rakshit Shetty starrer “777 charlie” is all set to hit the screens. The film team is busy with post-production work and has slowly started film promotion. In the meantime, new news has come out from the film ‘777 charlie’ — there will be a Konkani language song in the film!
Yes, you heard it right. While working on the script of ‘777 charlie’ about 4 years ago, director Kiran Raj K saw a high school girl’s video singing a Konkani song on the roadside with a guitarist. Inspired by this, Kiran Raj commissioned a Konkani song for his film ‘777 charlie.’ Interestingly, even after nearly four and a half years, the same schoolgirl has been roped in to sing it.
“The song not only gives the film a regional touch but also introduces the culture, breadth, and various parts of the respective places as the main characters travel to different parts of the country,” the team said.
“Oh ga…’ written in the Konkani language is a street song that is shaped in a hippie style. The song also features singer Vian Fernandes from the popular Malayalam band “Thaikkudam Bridge” in a cameo appearance in the song.
