The deceased Shravanth Acharya (9), son of Gangadhar Acharya – Sharada couple living in a rented house at Vorkady Bakery Junction, appeared to be very sick and looked like having breathed his last when sleeping there. A few injury marks found on his body gave rise to suspicion about the death.

Pariyaram Medical College Hospital carried the post-mortem and tests revealed that the boy had fallen when playing on wooden log, which had injured his liver. The doctors concluded that the internal bleeding led to the demise of the kid. The fall might be the reason behind the injury marks found on the deceased body.

Widespread public attention to the boy’s death compelled top police officials to visit the spot. The mortal remains of the deceased were laid to rest by the family at Ramattamajalu graveyard near Hosangady.
