Abetment to Suicide Case: MCC Bank president Anil Lobo’s bail plea rejected

Mangaluru: The Third Additional District and Sessions Court Mangaluru has rejected the bail application of MCC Bank President Anil Lobo, who was arrested on charges of abetting a debtor’s suicide.

In his interim bail plea, Lobo claimed innocence, asserting that the case against him was fabricated and sought bail.

However, the court stated that there was no valid justification to grant bail at this stage and dismissed the plea.

The court has scheduled the next hearing of the main petition on December 27.
