Afghanistan’s defence ministry has said that strikes launched by the Air Force in Nawa district killed 11 members of al-Qaeda, including a high-profile facilitator, and two Taliban terrorists.

The ministry added that al-Qaeda terrorists were believed to be training Taliban terrorists to make and use explosive devices. Last week, dozens of other terrorists were killed in military airstrikes.
Last week, Afghan military airstrikes killed dozens of terrorists in Helmand and Kandahar provinces.
