People are finding it more difficult to ride or drive their automobiles to work or elsewhere on a regular basis due to rising gasoline and fuel prices. A Maharashtra guy recently discovered a novel approach to combat rising fuel prices – commuting on a horse.

During the COVID-19 shutdown, Shaikh Yusuf of Aurangabad purchased a horse. Yusuf can be seen riding a horse amid other vehicles on a busy street in the footage.

Shaikh Yusuf told the news agency ANI that he purchased the horse Jigar during the outbreak because his motorcycle had broken down and fuel prices had risen. According to Yusuf, he purchased the horse for Rs 40,000 in order to travel. Yusuf, who works as a lab assistant at a local college, went on to say that despite the lockdown, he still rides his horse to work because of the dramatic spike in fuel expenses. He claims that his daily horseback riding keeps him in shape and keeps him healthy.
