Anupam Agarwal takes charge as Mangaluru Compol

Mangaluru: Senior IPS officer Anupam Agarwal took charge as the Mangaluru city police commissioner on Thursday, September 7.

Kuldeep Kumar R Jain handed over the charge to Anupam Agarwal at the Commissioner’s office.

Kuldeep Kumar Jain had been appointed to the post 5 months ago. He had been recognized as an efficient, upright officer. As the police commissioner, Jain had waged a war on drug mafia and had taken up the aim of making Mangaluru ‘drug free’.
