Following the incident, the police arrested his wife Nikita Singhania, her mother Nisha Singhania, and her brother Anurag Singhania. The trio had filed a bail application in the Bengaluru Sessions Court.

The Karnataka High Court had earlier directed the Sessions Court to expedite the hearing and dispose of the bail plea at the earliest. Acting on these directions, the Sessions Court granted bail to the accused today.

Nikita Singhania was arrested on December 14 in Gurugram, while her mother and brother were apprehended in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
