Australia fires: Chris Hemsworth donates staggering $1 Million

Sydney: The bushfire is rising day by day in Australia and firefighters are working round the clock to rescue people and animals from this disaster.

People from around the world have been donating for help and recuse missions. Recently Australian Tennis player Nick Kyrgios pledged to donate 200$ for every ace he delivers in the summer.

Captain America fame Chris Hemsworth joined the list of celebrities donating for this crisis. He posted a video on Instagram and Twitter asking the viewers to donate whatever they can to help the charities.

“Like you, I want to support the fight against the bushfires here in Australia. My family and I are contributing a million dollars,” he quoted in his post.

In response to this, Red Cross’ Instagram account replied to this gesture saying the organization was ‘blown away’ by his support.

As per reports,  the Red Cross has received over $40 million since the New Year’s eve.
