Bagalkote: Tragic road accident claims lives of four school children

In a devastating incident near Alaguru village in Bagalkote district, four school children lost their lives, and approximately eight students sustained injuries in a collision between a tractor and a school bus.

The deceased have been identified as Govinda Jambagi (13), Sagar Kadakola (17), Shweta Patil (16), and Basavaraja Kotagi (17).

The accident took place when they were returning after attending the school’s annual friendship meeting. A collision with a tractor resulted in the tragic loss of lives.

The injured children have been promptly shifted to Jamkhandi Government Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Local police have registed a case.
