Ballari: Lawyer holds crucial meeting with Darshan ahead of IT interrogation

A senior lawyer visited Darshan in jail for the second consecutive day after a previous meeting on Tuesday without much information.

The meeting, which lasted around 35 minutes, involved significant discussions between Darshan and senior lawyer Ramasindh.

Sources suggest that the lawyer’s visit was prompted by the upcoming interrogation by Income Tax (IT) authorities, scheduled for the following day.

The interrogation is linked to an investigation into a cash transaction in a case involving a deal to take responsibility for a murder. IT officials are expected to question Darshan regarding the large amount of cash involved.

The lawyer reportedly advised Darshan on how to respond during the interrogation.
