Bantwal: Auto driver dies after falling off terrace of under-construction house

Bantwal: An man died after accidentally falling off the terrace of an under-construction house at Gadiyara near Mani on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Kanthappa Moolya 948), a  resident of Banagundi.

Moolya earned his living as an autorickshaw driver. He had been constructing a new house and had been to the site for an inspection. He suffered injuries after slipping and falling from the roof. He reportedly died while being rushed to the hospital.

In honor of the deceased, the auto-rickshaws of Gadiyara Rickshaw Park remained idle on Tuesday. A postmortem examination of the deceased was conducted at Bantwal Government Hospital.
