Bantwal: Scooter rider killed in accident with private bus at Kadegoli

Bantwal: A scooter rider was killed another sustained severe injuries after being hit by a private bus at Kadegoli near Thumbe on National Highway 75 on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Praveen (30), a resident og Thumbe. The injured, identified as Sandeep, was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Who among the two was driving the scooter at the time of the accident remains unclear.

Local residents blamed the bus for the accident and have expressed anger.

Bantwal traffic police visited the accident site and conducted an investigation.
