Belthangady: Wife hangs self; shocked husband attempts suicide

Belthangady: A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Kokkada village, Belthangady on Monday, October 18.

The deceased has been identified as Rashmitha (28). She was living with her husband, Rajesh and baby in Puthye of Kokkada village.

Rashmi hanged herself when there was no one at home, Rajesh who found her hanging in the house also attempted suicide but was saved by locals.

A case has been registered at Dharmasthala police station. Reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
