The accused has been identified as Ravish Gowda (44), owner of a popular cafe located in the same area.  He used a licensed gun to fire at  Anil, an ambulance driver by profession. Luckily, he escaped unhurt.

It is said that on Wednesday night, there was an altercation between the car driver and the biker as the latter did not make way for the car to speed off.

Gowda allegedly had slapped Kumar and also punched him in the stomach after Kumar revolted. Raged by this, Gowda pulled out a firearm and tried to shoot Kumar, but Kumar was alert enough to block Gowda’s arm.

When he tried to fire once again, Anil shoved up his arm and the bullet was fired into the air. Gowda then fled from the spot.
