Bengaluru: Hundreds of citizens, migrant workers gather at Majestic bus stand

Bengaluru: Hundreds of citizens, migrant workers gathered at Kempegowda Bus Station at Central Bengaluru to return to their native places on Sunday, May 3. Soon after the State government announced about the travel arrangements, Citizens, Migrant workers, and students have gathered at Majestic to return back to their natives and KSRTC personnel have arranged for their respective places via buses. Around 150 buses have been arranged for the transport and it will be moving to different districts of the state. The buses have started moving from 9:00 Am today in which, 30 persons can sit on one bus. A special train to Odisha has been arranged by the state government for the migrant workers from Odisha to return to their respective places. The train will leave at 9:30 PM from Chikka Banavara to Bhuvaneshwar. 50 persons in one compartment are allowed.
