San Francisco: A northern California beach was host to a peculiar little subterranean creature following a bout of winter storms. Thousands of pink, throbbing phallus-looking creatures wound up along the beach about 80 kilometres north of San Francisco.
These 10 inches long pulsating creatures are called fat innkeeper
worms and are colloquially referred to as the ‘penis fish’ due to their acute similarity to the male genital. They burrow deep under the beach’s sand and were left exposed after incessant waves swept away the layers.
