Arsh took to LinkedIn to express his frustration at not securing a job. Prasad posted an image of himself on the social networking site, attending a job interview while sitting in his hospital bed. In the post, he shared the challenges of finding a job while suffering the worst phase of his life.

Arsh described how recruiters from one company after another rejected him, solely because of his medical condition, despite him being qualified for the job. “As the recruiters come to know that I’m fighting cancer, I see the change in their expressions. I don’t need your sympathy!! I’m here to prove myself” he wrote.

“When you give your best in the interviews but are not selected for the mere fact that you are going through a rough patch in life certainly shows how generous these companies are,” his post read.

The post, which went viral, caught the attention of the CEO of a Maharashtra-based IT firm.
