Chamarajanagar: KSRTC bus topples, 5 injured

Chamarajanagar: At least 5 persons were injured when a KSRTC bus overturned near Chikkarangashetti village under PG Palya Gram Panchayat of Hanur Taluk on Tuesday, March 13.

The bus was its way to Bailoor village from Kollegal when the accident occurred. At the time, there were more than 40 passengers on it.

The bus veered to the right and toppled after hitting a ditch.  Miraculously, only five people suffered minor injuries.

Locals and passengers alleged that the Bus conductor was driving the vehicle, leading to the accident.

The locals rescued the passengers to get out of the bus.
