Locals said that there has been higher footfall after the implementation of the Shakti Yojana in the state. The bus door broke as more people attempted to board the already jam-packed bus as there were not enough buses plying on the route.

They emphasized the need for additional buses on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to cater to the growing number of devotees and tourists who wish to visit the hill.
