Krishna Jois, a clerk at the SP’s office had been using his bike since 2008 without a valid number plate. He allegedly did not bother to register the vehicle and continued to use it with a fake number plate.

His luck ran out when the vehicle was involved in an accident recently. Jois had lent his bike to his friend Saeed Salim Pasha. An unidentified bike rider had hit the vehicle when Pasha was traveling with his relative Noor Jahan. Due to the impact, Noor Jahan hit the road and died later. The other biker fled from the spot.

However, during the investigation of the case police found that the number plate of the bike belonged to another Bajaj Boxer bike.

During the interrogation, Jois confessed that he did not register it with the RTO after purchasing the new bike from the showroom. He used a fictitious number plate to use the bike.
