CM Basavaraj Bommai, State BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel attend BJP national executive committee meeting

Bengaluru: Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, state BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel and former CM B S Yediyurappa attended the BJP national executive committee meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi on Sunday, November 7.

The meeting will deliberate upon the upcoming assembly elections in five states, including Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting is being held for the first time following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and is taking place in a hybrid model with some attendees being present physically at the Delhi venue, while others taking part virtually.

Karnataka Minister Jagadish Shettar, Rural Development Minister, Eshwarappa, Revenue Minister R. Ashok, Water Resources Minister Govinda Karajola, Higher Education Minister Dr. CN Ashwaththa Narayan, Social Welfare and and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, MP Umesh Jadhav, former DyCM Laxman Sawadi and others also attended the meeting.

PM Modi was felicitated by BJP President JP Nadda and party’s former national presidents for achieving the 100 crore COVID19 vaccination target.

The meeting started with the inaugural address of Nadda and will conclude with Prime Minister Modi’s valedictory address around 3 pm.

BJP reconstituted its national executive last month with 80 regular members, 50 special invitees and 179 permanent invitees.
