Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai who will be leaving for Delhi on Monday, November 28 on a two-day visit, is expected to meet the BJP high command leaders to discuss the current scenario in state politics and cabinet expansion.
Speaking to the media on Monday he said that he would be leaving for Delhi to meet BJP National President J P Nadda. He also confirmed that though an appointment was not yet given by Nadda, he was confident that the meeting will take place soon.
On issues of the Karnataka-Maharashtra dispute, Bommai said that he would be meeting former Attorney General for India and senior advocate of the Supreme Court of India, Mukul Rohatgi, and discuss the matter.
As per the reports, Bommai is also expected to meet Union Minister Piyush Goyal during his two-day visit to the national capital.

Earlier, this year, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while on his state visit, had informed Bommai that he would discuss cabinet expansion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nadda.
Amid this, former chief minister and veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa had also opined that the cabinet expansion would take place soon.
