Confusion over CM's landing at Gadag helipad

A chaotic situation prevailed today when Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s helicopter was preparing for landing owing to presence of two helipads in the vicinity.

Siddaramaiah was visiting Gadag to inaugurate a girls’ children’s home.

The pilot was perplexed as there were two helipads and he initiated descent at one helipad. He however aborted the descent midway and decided to take off again and made a landing on the adjacent helipad.

The police, district administration officials, Congress leaders, and activists who were present to welcome the chief minister were stunned over the confusion.
