Congress workers ransack Storia Foods office over advertisement mocking Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai: Congress workers created a ruckus at the office of Storia Foods in Andheri West on Tuesday over the company’s recent advertisement that allegedly mocked party President Sonia Gandhi and MP Rahul Gandhi.

Storia Foods & Beverages recently launched its new marketing campaign “Wish it never gets over” for its range of Storia Shakes. The campaign includes the roll out of ad that features actor and comedian Sanket Bhosale. Congress workers allege that the ad mocks  Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

Following which, Mumbai Congress General Secretary Nitin Sawant and Youth Congress workers stormed the office of Storia Foods and ransacked it. They also raised slogans like ‘Mumbai Congress Zindabad’, ‘Sonia Gandhi Zindabad’ and ‘Rahul Gandhi Zindabad.

Storia Foods is yet to issue a statement in response to the controversy.
