Corpse of missing woman found in a well; murder alleged

Mulki: The corpse of a a woman from Kilpady near Mulky in the taluk, who had gone missing since Wednesday night, was found in a well near her home on Thursday November 1^st. Her family members allege that it is a case of murder and filed a complaint in this regard.

The deceased woman is identified as Radha Kunder (47) and it is being said that she had an illicit relationship with Mohan (48), who lives in her neighbourhood, since last few years. Apparently, on Wednesday night, she met her paramour in a dilapidated house located nearby. Apparently, when she was returning home after meeting her paramour, she allegedly fell into a well which does not have a protective wall.

In his statement to the police, Mohan state that that he had noticed the incident bit chose not to reveal about it to anyone fearing the wrath of the locals.

According to sources, the police have checked Radha’s cellphone and found out that her last call was to Mohan, who has taken into custody for interrogation.

In their complaint to the police, Radha’s family members suspect that Mohan was the culprit behind Radha’s demise.

Mulki police have registered a case and a police team is investigating the death.
