Court convicts ex-Asst Director of factories H Suresh in bribery case

Mangaluru: The Third Additional District Sessions Court in Mangaluru convicted ex-Asst Director of factories, H Suresh, in a bribery case.

In 2016, Anti-Corruption Bureau officials registered a case against H. Suresh, who was the Assistant Director of Factories in Kottara for accepting bribes from the factory owners. During the raid, ACB found Rs.3,49,515 in his house.

Judge B.B. Jakati on Saturday sentenced the defendant H. Suresh to four years in jail without parole and levied a fine of Rs 4 lakh.
