Dakshina Kannada Zilla Kannada Sahitya Sammelana kickstarted with Flag hoisting ceremony

Mangaluru: The three- day Dakshina Kannada Zilla Kannada Sahitya Sammelana kickstarted with a flag hoisting ceremony at Sharada Vidyalaya, Kodialbail

Mangaluru Mayor, Diwakara Pandeshwara hoisted the National flag and Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, President of Dakshina Kannada Sahitya Parishat hoisted the Parishat flag

Speaking during the ocassion, Diwakara Pandeshwara, said, ” We must save our kannada language by contributing to the growth of the language”

The theme of the 24th  Dakshina Kannada Zilla Kannada Sahitya Sammelana is “Traditional and Modern Approach to Atmanirbhar Bharat”.

Scholar and talamaddale Arthadari M. Prabhakar Joshi will preside over the meet. The former Vice-Chancellor of Kannada University, Hampi, and Karnataka State Open University B.A. Vivek Rai will inaugurate the event.
