Bengaluru: Amid widespread discussions on social media about why former MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has not commented on the Darshan case, her recent post on social media has gone viral.

She posted a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, which is being interpreted as a reference to Darshan. The post translates to: “Before good times come, many hardships come. But we must wait without losing faith.”

Darshan often referred to Sumalatha as ‘Mother India,’ and he shared in the joys and sorrows of her family. Sumalatha also expressed her affection for Darshan, referring to him as her “eldest son”.
