Even after orders to display the rates at a prominent place in hospitals, those are being displayed in corners of hospitals away from the sight of people. “In some hospitals old rates are mentioned instead of revised rates,” observed the DC.
The DC asked district health and family welfare officer to visit private hospitals and conduct inspections and to obtain pictures of the rate display boards in the hospitals before renewing their licenses.
“Land has been reserved in Senapura for Endosulfan victims. The land should be fenced by the department of health. Necessary equipment should be provided to the victims,” said the DC.
