Dissatisfied Congress dissidents warned of disciplinary action

Bengaluru: Congress party affairs in-charge in Karnataka, K C Venugopal, has cautioned legislator from his party who are disturbed over not being given a ministerial post, of starting disciplinary action against them if they hold isolate meeting and attempt any action that damages the party. 

“Our party experienced inverts in the recent assembly election. Accordingly, the party is experiencing a troublesome stage. Regardless of this, the party has fashioned a coalition with JD(S) in relationship with JD(S). Hence, we couldn’t offer the post of ministers to every one of the aspirants,” he clarified. 

He expressed that the working style of the ones who have been made ministers currently would be nearly monitored for a half year, toward the end of which decision would be taken about who can be proceeded and who should to be dropped. 

Venugopal expressed that the party has filling limited number of ministerial vacancies available to it, on the basis of eligibility. Meanwhile, a few legislators met Venugopal, who is on a visit to the city to participate in the coordination board meeting, to express their dismay. While some of them demanded being made ministers, others communicated their will to head enterprises and boards. Among the individuals who met Venugopal were H K Patil, Tanveer Sait, P T Parameshwar Naik, C S Shivalli, and V Muniyappa.
