The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by CB Rishyant, the District Superintendent of Police, at the Town Hall premises. Among the distinguished guests present were Siddharth Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Mangaluru City Police, Sammelana President Bhuvaneshwari Hegde, Kannada Sahitya Parishad State President Dr. Mahesh Joshi, District President Dr. MP Srinath, and others.
Subsequently, the sammelana was inaugurated by Dr. Mahesh Joshi, the State President of the Council. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of various dignitaries.
Due to the Election Code of Conduct, the customary Kannada Bhuvaneswari procession was canceled. Various stalls offering books and other items, added to the vibrant atmosphere. Students, writers, literature enthusiasts, and members of the general public actively participated in the conference.
