Recalling his journey to Bengaluru at the age of six to pursue education, Shivakumar shared his early experiences attending the National Public School in Rajajinagar. He emphasized the significant contributions of Kempegowda in building the Bengaluru city and rural district, highlighting the ongoing development of the Kempegowda Fort near the Tamil Nadu border.
During the event, Shivakumar also paid tribute to three notable figures who played pivotal roles in Bengaluru’s development including Kempegowda, Kengal Hanumantaiah, and SM Krishna.
