Bengaluru: Bengaluru city police commissioner Bhaskar Rao has tweeted a warning to food delivery companies for risking the lives of their delivery boys by promising the delivery of food in less than 30 minutes. Taking to Twitter Bhaskar Rao wrote, "Do we have the heart to get a free pizza from a kid who is risking his life just because he crossed over 30 mns. Am seriously considering asking Pizza companies to make it 40 mns as these kids risk their lives by breaking all Traffic rules."     In response Swiggy tweeted this:   Then as a response to Swiggy's tweet, the Commissioner furiously tweeted this warning:   Twitterati responses poured, many supporting the Commissioner and many laughing at the Commissioner for asking the companies to increase the time by a mere 10 minutes. Food delivery companies such as Swiggy, Zomato and other restaurants franchises have a policy of delivering food to their customers in less than thirty minutes else it's delivered for free. This policy has caused many delivery executives of these companies to violate traffic rules mainly jumping a signal. Many Twitterati claimed that the Police Department need not waste time warning these companies on Twitter. If anytime a delivery executive violates any rules, police have to just give a phone call and the company's management will have to appear at the police station.
