Doc found dead under mysterious circumstances in Periyapatna village

Madikeri: A doctor was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Bylakuppe near Kushalnagar on Sunday, December 9.

The deceased is identified as Dileep(55). Dileep was running a private clinic in Kushalnagar.

It is gathered that on Sunday when the maid came to work she was shocked to see Dileep’s body lying on the floor with his hands and legs tied with a rope, adhesive plaster stuck on his mouth. In addition to it, chilli powder was found on the walls and floor of the house and this has raised suspicion that Dileep might have been murdered. 

Dr Dileep was not married and was living alone, the murderers might have come in the disguise of patients and killed Dileep, informed police sources.

The family members of Dileep have lodged a police complaint with the Bylakuppe police and the police are conducting a probe.
