The deceased, identified as Monisha (24), a resident of Turuvekere, had come to the temple with her mother to offer prayers, seeking blessings for her upcoming marriage. During the ritual, Monisha suddenly collapsed inside the temple premises.
She was immediately rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. However, due to low blood pressure, she died en route to the hospital, according to police sources.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Doddaballapura Rural Police Station.
