Dvara KGFS to set up offices in South, north and eastern India

Chennai: Dvara KGFS (Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services), formerly IFMR Rural Channel and Services, plans to expand to newer markets by setting up offices in South, North and Eastern parts of the country.

Set up in 2008 in Thanjavur, Dvara KGFS has 206 branches in Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Uttarakhand.

“We are now geared up to take the organisation to the next level by expanding to newer markets in order to be able to provide better financial access to further rural areas in India”, Dvara Trust Chairperson Bindu Ananth said.

The KGFS model has always been a one-to-one customer approach, backed by a complete understanding of wealth management for clients and their needs, she said in a company statement.

Dvara KGFS, Chief Business Officer L V L N Murthy said the company would bring in the expertise of the KGFS model to other states following growing demand for ‘rural financial services’.

Dvara KGFS has facilitated Rs 3,000 crore loan and managed assets of Rs 580 crore since inception.
