Electric scooter catches fire in Mangaluru

 Mangaluru: An Electric scooter in Mangaluru reportedly caught fire while it was being charged on Sunday, June 5.

The incident has left the scooter completely damaged.

It is said that the scooter was being charged in the parking lot when it suddenly caught fire. The exact cause of the mishap is yet to be known.

There has been an increase in the incidents of electric two-wheelers catching fire in India and the social media is awash with videos of battery-powered scooters in flames.
