FIR against MLA Renukacharya for violating Election Code of Conduct

An (FIR) has been registered against the political secretary of Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai and Honnali BJP MLA MP Renukacharya for violating the Election Code of Conduct.

The complaint was filed by the Election Officer, who accused the politician of holding a meeting at Kalyana Mandapam in violation of the code of conduct.

Despite the allegations, Renukacharya denied any wrongdoing and attempted to convince the police that he did not violate the code of conduct. He cited an internal rebellion in the party over ticket distribution.
