Firm action will be taken against those who make conflicting remarks: RaGa

New Delhi/Bengaluru: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday, May 19 warned the Party leaders in the state to avoid making conflicting remarks against their coalition partners JD(S) and also told that such behaviour will not be tolerated henceforth.

Addressing presspersons after meeting Rahul Gandhi working president of the Karnataka Congress unit, Dinesh Gundu Rao said that the meeting with Rahul Gandhi was a bid to work in a more cohesive, strong and united manner.

He further added that statements made by the party leaders against the coalition government are not acceptable at all.

“Because of Lok Sabha election, we did not take any strict action against the party leaders who made a statement against coalition partners but in the future, the party high command has said such things will be not tolerated and firm action will be taken, ” he added.

“We need to have more discipline in Congress party,” Dinesh Rao said.

“We are expecting very good results on May 23, there will be a new government in Delhi. There has been misrule in the country because of five years of Narendra Modi government and people are going to send him out,” he added.
