Malpe: Tourists and beachgoers at Malpe can enjoy the experience of walking on the ocean waves. In an effort to make the beach more attractive a floating bridge has been constructed at Malpe beach.
This floating structure is the first of its kind to come up in Karnataka. Kerala’s Beypore beach has a similar floating bridge too.
It is expected that tourists who seek adventure might love this new installation.
Using this 3.5-meter wide bridge, people can reach up to 100 meters into the sea. It can support 100 people at a time. At the end of the bridge, a 12-meter-long and 7.5-meter-wide rectangular platform is also constructed. ABout 10 lifeguards have also been stationed at the bridge for safety purposes.
